Know Your Voting Status. Know Your Power.

Did you know that in Georgia, although a felony conviction temporarily bars you from voting, that once you complete probation or parole your voting rights are fully restored!

"It was projected that in 2008 700, 000 persons would re-enter communities from prisons around the country."

These are numbers for just one year.

If you fall into this category you may not have known this or you may not care; but ex-felons with restored voting rights have the potential to be a substantial and powerful voting bloc. As a focused voting constituency ex-felons will be able to impact the political landscape locally and nationally.
So know your status. If you have a felony conviction on your record and you have satisfied all probation or parole obligations you can register to vote in Georgia.

“The vote is the most powerful instrument ever devised by man for breaking down injustice and destroying the terrible walls which imprison men because they are different from other men.”
Lyndon B. Johnson
